Participant expectations

Code of Conduct

Vrishalaya asks participants, families, mentors, volunteers, and partners to create a respectful learning and service environment.

We expect participants to

• Treat people, cultures, beliefs, identities, and abilities with dignity.
• Listen carefully, communicate honestly, and give credit for others' work.
• Protect private information shared by community partners and participants.
• Use technology lawfully, safely, and only for the agreed project.
• Follow adult supervision and safety instructions.
• Raise concerns early and accept constructive feedback.

Serious or repeated violations may lead to removal from an activity. Any response will consider safety, fairness, context, and parent or guardian involvement when appropriate.

These expectations should be reviewed by qualified adult professionals before enrollment opens.
